Getting Started The first and most important thing to realize with the Lettering Delights Supreme Image Browser is that it is not a full word processing or desktop publishing program. It does have the ability to print, size, rotate, and change certain effects. Please note the LD Supreme image browser can only use the Colored Alphabets designed specifically for the Lettering Delights Supreme program. The only place in the program where you can use TrueType fonts is in the Text Box feature on the Print Preview page. You cannot manipulate the TrueType fonts. This guide will often refer to fonts and Alphabets. A font is installed into your Windows system, and is accessed in the same place as the other Windows fonts (Arial, Courier, Times Roman, etc.) within your desktop publishing and word processing program. In order for the TrueType fonts to be available for use in your word processor, they must first be installed to your computer's hard drive. An Alphabet is a set of individual graphics which can be previewed in the Image Browser and can either be printed directly from the Image Browser or copied and pasted into your word processor. Normally, you would have to retrieve each fully-colored letter one at a time. With the Lettering Delights Supreme Image Browser, however, you can create lines of full colored text by simply typing it in, printing it or copying to the Windows clipboard. Please note there is a limit of 30 characters in a line of text. To become familiar with this program it is strongly suggested you: 1. Read through the various sections in the help file. If you have any questions the help file does not answer, please feel free to contact us (see the information in the Contact Us section of the help file). 2. Use the Quick Tours. These are step by step instructions to help you learn the various features and abilities of the image browser. You can repeat a Quick Tour as often as you like. |
